The terrace of the Basilica Palladiana back accessible thanks to more than 2,000 supports by Eterno Ivica

On 6 October 2012 the symbol of the city of Vicenza, was returned to the public. The Basilica Palladiana , after a restoration lasted 5 years conducted with the aim of ensuring the functionality and use in the field of culture, is back in vogue.

The work focused on the roof but especially on the white stone wall of the Basilica. The architect Andrea Palladio had expected such material to give new light to the entire structure that now is back to shine.

In particular, the coverage was cut to remove the load-bearing reinforced concrete arches reconstruction and replace them with lighter laminated wood arches. In addition, the building has been enhanced with the addition of outside lights and installing lifts to allow the visit of the loggia and terrace, overcoming any kind of architectural barriers so that all may enjoy a view of the city and the hills of Vicenza.

It is in fact in the terrace that Eterno Ivica has contributed by providing approximately 2000 adjustable supports NEW MAXI for the realization of the raised floor.

Once again the company has set itself the objective of continuous search for innovation by developing new solutions and supervising all production phases, from processing to marketing.
