Leveller for tiles
The leveller for tiles is an indispensable tool for the installation of porcelain stoneware floors and walls and it consists of three elements: a tie rod, a spacer and a protection ring.
The cylindrical part called "tie rod" is inserted in the "spacer" by screwing and pressing on the tiles: in this way the edges of the tiles are aligned and maintain a perfect flatness. This system is also equipped with a lower part, released from the tie rod, called "protection ring", which rests on the tiles and ensures that the tie rod does not mark the tile when screwed.
The leveller can be used for tiles with a thickness from 3 mm to 20 mm, such as porcelain stoneware, glazed ceramic/semigres, glossy ceramic, polished stoneware, in the latter cases the particular protection ring will protect the tiles from any scratches and/or scratches.
The spacer determines the thickness of the joint, which can be 1.5 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 mm in the following variants: "linear", "T" and "cross", to be used according to the size of the tile and the type of installation to be created.
The “linear” spacer is suitable for laying large format tiles. For example, the consumption per m2 for the 60x60 cm size is 11 spacers.
The “T” spacer is suitable for laying tiles in a staggered way. For example, the consumption per m2 for the 15x60 cm size is 19 spacers.
The "cross" spacer is suitable for laying small tiles. For example, the consumption per m2 for the 30x30 cm size is 11 spacers.
Once the glue has set, the tie rod can be removed quickly and easily, the disposable spacer will break into two parts and easily release from the tie rod.
